Spring?

One of the things I love about spring is driving home on Highway 100 with the windows open and smelling all the grease and fat from the restaurants. A&W and Tops and that place that was Charcoal Grill and then some cowboy thing and is now a Mexicano-themed place and George Webbs and Taco Bell / Pizza Hut and Le Bistro Shanghai and that's all I can think of right now.

Also I love when you're sitting outside and the wind in the tops of the trees is really loud but you can't feel it at all.

Also I made lemonade and put strawberries in it because that stuff at Red Robin's is so good. I used to hate lemonade, but now I think I just don't like real lemonade. Like, the stuff that doesn't come from magic dust.

I'm So Cool

Google blogs: "Save your readers time and effort. We’ll automatically extract the most relevant sentence from your post for the index page, along with any necessary ellipsis. We'll also put some words in bold!"

How is that an improvement? Over anything? Like, who the heck cares?

Anyway, the other day I wrote a cool pass from band, because two Joshes were coming with me, so I wrote "Joshes S. and E." We didn't even actually need the pass because there was an announcement, but it was awesome, because I wrote that, so I made Pastor Becker read it. Yeah. I'm cool.

Tinkling

Yes, the toilet in my house really is pink. One of them, anyway.

And it was on that toilet that I made my decision about where to go to college. I was just thinkin' about myself in the future, and poof, that's where I found myself without even considering it.

Holly says it will make a good story.

Also, I have read The Watchmen. I notice that when a comic is just a general series, we can refer to it by its title. But when it's a graphic-novel-project, it's possesed. It's Alan Moore's Watchmen. (They're making it into a movie. That... could be bad.) Anyway, now anytime someone says something isn't funny I want to say "Well duh, the Comedian's dead."
